Similar to After Vermeer, After Edward Hopper takes its composition from Edward Hopper's painting Automat (1927), reinterpreted in a modern idiom, the cup and saucer replaced quite aptly by a polystyrene cup. Also like After Vermeer, this picture is also composed from several photographs.
